You'll work directly alongside Dr. Arpita Surkunte, MD (Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine) in a fast-growing, physician-led practice focused on medical weight loss, GLP-1 therapies, hormone optimization, and body contouring. This isn't a typical clinic job. You'll be part of a team that genuinely changes lives — in a modern, upbeat environment where every patient interaction matters. What You'll Do Greet and room patients with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care Assist Dr. Surkunte with clinical exams, procedures, and treatment plans Administer GLP-1 and other weight-loss injections under physician supervision Perform vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and point-of-care testing Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain clinical supplies Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR system Educate patients on medication protocols, lifestyle guidance, and follow-up care Support body contouring and aesthetic treatment sessions Coordinate seamlessly with front desk staff and our virtual assistant team What We're Looking For Certified Medical Assistant (CMA / RMA) or equivalent clinical training — required 1+ year of clinical experience preferred; strong new grads with clinical rotations welcome Phlebotomy and injection administration skills Genuine passion for patient wellness, weight loss, and preventive health Positive, high-energy attitude — our patients need champions, not just caregivers Excellent communication skills and comfort with technology and EMR systems Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus Reliable, punctual, and team-first mindset Why You'll Love It Here Work directly with a board-certified MD using leading-edge treatments Real growth opportunities as the practice expands Consistent schedule — no nights or weekends Employee discounts on weight-loss and wellness services Supportive, mission-driven team culture Continuing education and training support About New Viva MD New Viva MD is a physician-led transformation center in Chandler, Arizona, offering medical weight loss, GLP-1 medications, hormone optimization, and body contouring — all under the expert care of Dr. Arpita Surkunte, MD.
