Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in outpatient clinics urgent care centers, and specialized units such as pediatrics, geriatrics, and emergency medicine. You will support physicians and healthcare professionals by managing patient interactions, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with the check-in process using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, specimen collection, X-ray procedures, and basic life support when necessary Support inpatient and outpatient care by managing patient intake, updating medical histories, and documenting clinical notes with precision Perform basic anatomy and physiology assessments to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to infection control protocols Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols Experience working in out patient medical office Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and patient record management Ability to perform clinical procedures such as EKG or assisting in PAP smear or other procedures Proven ability to handle diverse patient populations including geriatrics Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and communication This position is a paid opportunity designed for motivated individuals eager to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.
