Medical Assistant - Wound Care Valley Wound Care Specialists |
Glendale & Sun City, AZ Pay:
$17.00-$19.00+/hour (based on experience; increase upon completing probationary period and competencies) About Us Valley Wound Care Specialists is a practice dedicated exclusively to wound healing, treating wounds of all types from head to toe. Learn more at valleywoundcare.com. The Role We're growing our team and looking for a compassionate, hands-on Medical Assistant to support our Wound Care Providers and help patients heal. This is a great opportunity to build specialized clinical skills in a focused, fast-paced practice. Schedule Full-time, four 10-hour shifts/week (7am-5pm). Shifts rotate between our Glendale and Sun City locations. What You'll Do Patient intakes and vital signs Wound assessments and documentation Hands-on wound treatments and dressing changes Support providers in delivering patient care What You'll Need Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (required) Comfortable with open wounds in all stages of healing Strong stomach for the realities of wound care Reliable transportation between locations
