Job Description

Medical Assistant - Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while supporting medical professionals in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential to maintaining efficient clinic operations and promoting the overall health and well-being of our patients. Key Responsibilities Travel as needed between our three clinic locations (Glendale, Gilbert, and Goodyear) Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient care, including: Taking vital signs Administering injections and medications Preparing patients for examinations Perform both administrative and clinical duties, including: Scheduling appointments Managing and updating medical records Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient information and coordinate care Conduct routine medical tests, including flow rate testing and urodynamic studies Perform specimen collection, processing, and testing Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with infection control standards Educate and support patients by explaining treatment plans and procedures Assist with minor in-office procedures and surgeries Handle patient check-out, referral processing, and coordination of laboratory services Monitor and manage medical supply inventory; stock exam rooms as needed Answer and direct phone calls, gather patient information, and ensure all required forms and consents are completed Experience & Skills Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related healthcare role required Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology Experience with medical records management and coding preferred Strong patient care and communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment Qualifications High School diploma or GED required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant certification program preferred Urology experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities Solid understanding of medical practices and administrative processes Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
