Our thriving ENT/Plastics practice is seeking individuals who are passionate about working collaboratively to deliver exceptional care to our patients. At AOC Physicians, we aim to provide the highest level of care to children and adults throughout the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area. AOC provides the full spectrum of Otolaryngology and Facial plastics services. Our physicians and staff are committed to providing quality, compassionate care to our patients and their families.
Summary:
In this role, you will provide administrative and clinical support to our clinicians while delivering compassionate patient care.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient care, including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions, patient appointments, diagnostics/procedures, and testing Assist with patient visits by taking vital signs, history, medication listing, assessing, and determining chief complaints. Complete all necessary documentation in the patient's medical record Prepare equipment and assist physicians with medical treatments, exams, and medical procedures Return patient phone calls Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients and visitors. This includes cleaning, sterilizing, and storing instruments in accordance with practice policies. Stock rooms in preparation for the daily work schedule, maintaining medical and exam room supplies inventory. Discuss exam results as instructed by the clinician. Resolve patient concerns promptly Prioritize tasks, understand the provider's instructions, and know when to seek additional information or guidance. Some travel between offices
