Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical operations across various specialties, including Full life spectrum from new born until Geriatric. Your expertise will help ensure smooth clinic workflows, accurate documentation, and compassionate patient interactions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact patient outcomes and overall clinic efficiency. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and documenting symptoms accurately in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems). Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) when needed. Support medical office management by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining organized medical records. Conduct ICD coding for diagnoses to ensure proper billing and documentation compliance. Assist with laboratory procedures such as specimen collection. Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) and EMR/EHR management tools. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with diverse populations. Ability to perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, vital signs measurement, medication administration. Strong organizational skills for managing medical office tasks like appointment scheduling and record keeping.
