Job Description
East Valley Cardiology is in search of a skilled back office Medical Assistant. Cardiology practice experience a plus but not required. Hourly wage dependent on previous experience. Practice location in Maricopa, AZ. Practice hours Mon.-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm Bi-lingual Spanish preferred but not required.
Responsibilities Include:
- Create a warm and welcome environment for all patients
- Rooming patients/ taking vitals & EKG's
- Interview/ Review patient medical history
- Verify and enter data into patient EMR
- Perform basic lab procedures
- Clean and prepare exam rooms
- Manage/ obtain prior auth's for medication/ procedures
- Hospital Procedural Scheduling
- Manage phone messages/ patient medical concerns between patient and provider
Requirement:
- Certified Medical Assistant certification
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills
- Willing to learn/ Self-motivated Attitude while still working in a team setting East Valley Cardiology is proud to have served the Maricopa location since 2019.
