Summit View Dermatology is seeking a dedicated, professional, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced, growing practice. Responsibilities:

Rooming patients, scribing, and completing patient intake (updating medical history). Assist providers with minor procedures, including biopsies, surgical procedures, Mohs, cosmetic procedures, injections, suture removal, and more. Participate in sterilization, autoclaving, and room stocking processes. Relaying pathology results and scheduling follow-up appointments or surgeries. Provide exceptional patient communication and support. Manage administrative tasks such as prescription refills, phone calls, voicemails, responding to patient emails/faxes, and handling provider inboxes.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma. Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone etiquette. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of patient care. Strong desire to innovate, inspire others, and work as part of a dedicated team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant CPR Certification. 1+ year of experience in Dermatology. Familiarity with Dermatology terminology and procedures. Experience with EZDerm EMR (preferred but not required). Spanish language skills (preferred).

Physical Demands:

Significant standing and walking throughout the day. Assisting patients to and from exam rooms and helping them with moving between the exam chair and other areas as needed. Ability to lift over 20 lbs occasionally. Comfort with overhead use, bending, or squatting when required. Perform data entry using computer devices like desktops or iPads.
