We are currently seeking experienced Certified Medical Assistants/Research Assistants to support our strategic growth in Arizona. Must be eager to work in a fast paced and high-volume environment. Hope Research Institute conducts Phase I
- IV pharmaceutical and device trials in the following therapeutic areas: Family/Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Neurology/Sleep Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics/Orthopedic Surgery, Pain Management, Podiatry, Urology, and Women's Health.
Hope Research Institute is now hiring Experienced Certified Medical Assistants/ Research Assistants. The Medical Assistant/Research Assist conducts study procedures as delegated by the Principal Investigator (PI). These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Front Desk/Reception Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients
- Assist in answering phone calls
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, follow up visits
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
Clinical Research Support:
- Room patients; obtain & record vitals (as allowed per the protocol)
- Assist with exams and minor procedures (as allowed per the protocol)
- Assist with patient pre-screening, recruitment, and scheduling visits for studies
- Prepare for upcoming visits (reminder calls, preparing source documents)
- Process and ship labs (Experience preferred)
- Support Study Visits (Phlebotomy, Perform ECG's and CLIA waived tests such as urinalysis, rapid glucose, Nasal swabs, flu testing + other additional in-office services as needed)
- Administer vaccines & injections (per State of Arizona Regulations)
- Investigational Product (IP)
Management:
Maintain Accountability, Receipt, Dispensing, Return to Sponsor/Destruction, & proper storage as per the IP Manual
- Accurately complete source documentation (as per the protocol)
- Stock and maintain sanitized rooms (as needed)
- Assist coordinators and investigators with daily study operations (as needed)
- Additional duties or tasks as assigned by Site Manager/Director Full-time M-F.
