  • Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant
  • Medical Assistant
  • Full-time, onsite, $20
  • 23 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a great team in a productive environment!
  • Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant
  • 3+ years of recent medical assistant experience required
  • Recent orthopedics experience highly preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Medical Assistant diploma or certification required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant
  • Obtain basic vitals, patient history, and registration forms
  • Verify insurance eligibility and/or benefits
  • Document chief complaint and clinically relevant findings in patient records
  • Alert physicians of problems, concerns, and abnormalities
  • Work with providers to coordinate patient needs
  • Help with wound care, examinations, treatments, and procedures as needed
  • Retrieve equipment and supplies
  • Conduct front desk duties as needed
