Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining patient records accurately.Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical and administrative tasks to support healthcare providers
- Assist in patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and other pertinent information
- Administer injections or medications as directed by physicians
- Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms
- Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Follow medical protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
- Experience in patient care and medical administrative support
- Proficiency in coding and billing procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient service
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
