Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant Medical Assistant - Full-time, onsite, $20-$24 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a fast-paced team with opportunities for growth! Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant 2+ years of recent back-office medical assistant experience required Palliative or hospice experience preferred Medical Assistant diploma or certification required High school diploma or GED required Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant Room patients Collect patient information and enter into EMR system Help provider with procedures Handle injections and blood draws Answer phones Schedule/reschedule appointments and procedures Handle prescription refills and prior authorizations About the Company This well-known and successful healthcare system has remained a symbol of quality for nearly 40 years.
