Job Description New Direction Fertility Centers is an advanced fertility clinic that offers a wide range of treatments, from basic care to cutting-edge fertility technologies. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our team. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring all patients scheduled for the day have completed the necessary steps before seeing the provider. You will be the first point of contact for the provider's patients. We are seeking a Medical Assistant with outstanding communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively. Responsibilities and Duties Perform blood draws and administer injections Assist physicians with procedures such as Office Hysteroscopy, Saline Infusion, Ultrasounds, IUIs, and Ovum Aspiration Measure patient vital signs Manage room assignments and patient flow Inform providers of schedule changes affecting patient flow Prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies, and perform cleaning tasks Collect information on new patients Carry out clerical duties to ensure smooth office operations Anticipate and provide support for provider needs Return phone calls and messages Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma and completion of an accredited medical assisting program Current BLS certification or re-certification within one month of hire
