Job Overview:
We are seeking a mature, professional, organized and detail-oriented Medical Assistant for day-to-day patient care and coordination of surgeries. The ideal candidate will be a medical assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience in plastic surgery, cosmetic dermatology or aesthetics, have excellent customer service skills, verbal communication skills, a "can do" attitude, and a proven track record in both medical assisting and patient care coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintenance of procedure room equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Coordinate and schedule consultations & surgeries
- Conduct pre and post operative appointments including patient education
- Assist Surgeon with in-office procedures
- Proficiency in vital signs, sterile technique, before/after photography
- Highly proficient in charting and patient messaging via
EMR Experience:
- Previous experience in patient care coordination
- Strong knowledge of surgical office procedures and systems
- Knowledge and maintenance of
HIPPA/OSHA

- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and EMR software
- Must be able to work independently or as a team mamber
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work We are a 1 surgeon, 100% cosmetic, self-pay, non-insurance practice.
