Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in our outpatient clinics. You will be the frontline supporter of patient services, ensuring smooth clinical operations while fostering a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Your expertise will help streamline patient intake, assist with medical procedures, and support physicians in providing top-tier healthcare. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to assist clinicians in diagnosis. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, wound care, and basic life support during emergencies. Operate and maintain EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems to document patient information securely and efficiently. Support physicians with diagnostic procedures or other outpatient tests when required. Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for outpatient clinics. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, scheduling follow-ups, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit. Qualifications Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Prior experience working in hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration. Experience working within EHR systems is advantageous. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse populations. Ability to perform physical tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with mobility or basic procedures in fast-paced environments.
