Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical operations across various outpatient clinic. Your expertise will help ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality service delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse medical settings, utilizing your skills in anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately and efficiently Support clinical procedures including medication administration, wound care and ear cleaning assistance, and basic life support (BLS) when necessary Prepare patients for examinations and treatments in outpatient clinic settings like Geriatrics Document clinical notes precisely using medical terminology and ICD coding for billing and record-keeping purposes Conduct initial assessments in primary care Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams Experience Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics or hospital settings with exposure to primary care medicine preferred Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling and patient communication Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medical terminology essential for accurate documentation and billing Hands-on experience with patients Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current Previous work in hospital environments including Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers highly desirable Experience supporting injections; vitals; rooming and answering phones Join us to be part of a passionate healthcare team committed to delivering outstanding patient service through professionalism, compassion, and technical excellence.
