Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic tests
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine analysis and blood glucose monitoring
  • Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling billing and insurance claims
  • Educate patients on self-care techniques and provide instructions for medication or treatment plans
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols
Skills:
  • Proficient in medical terminology and documentation
  • Strong patient care skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach
  • Knowledge of medical administrative procedures and electronic health records systems
  • Competency in performing basic life support techniques
  • Experience with inhalation therapy or respiratory treatments is a plus
  • Proficient in taking accurate vital signs measurements
