Tempe, AZ Job Details Part-time $17 - $20 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Free parking On-the-job training Professional development assistance Qualifications Customer communication Interpersonal skills Medical records Attention to detail Organizational skills Time management Full Job Description Caring Pediatrics is a pediatric outpatient clinic based in Tempe, AZ, and we have a perfect opportunity for pre-med students to gain experience in pediatrics. You should be comfortable working both as the front desk medical receptionist and as a medical assistant. Flexible work hours. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist or EMT is preferred but not required . We require a minimum of 3 days per week, and some Saturdays per month. Flexible schedule. We are happy to train you both in the front desk and as a medical assistant. You will be able to work and learn from the physicians and other mid level providers. One-year commitment is required for a minimum of 2/3 days per week. This is a dynamic, fast-paced job. Must pass a background search. You will support doctors, providers, manager and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, and promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Willingness and ability to learn and take directions . Multi-tasking, accuracy, and good time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and pleasant personality
  • Work directly with Physicians, clinicians, and medical staff to provide patient care and coordination. Comfortable with patient intake (training provided)
  • Strong computer skills. Training will be provided for using electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Team player attitude, energetic, with a focus on excellent customer service, and attention to detail
  • Time Management skills, organization skills
  • Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, or EMT certification required.
Experience preferred but not required.
