Job Description
About Faces Cosmetic Surgery is a Tucson, AZ-based, cosmetic surgery practice. We are looking for a motivated, dedicated, and energetic individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills and be able to perform a variety of medical tasks. Must have excellent interpersonal skills to work with staff and patients. Responsibilities Prepares examination rooms for patient appointments Assists the physician with consultations Communicates with patients and dispatches for appropriate treatment Keeps medical equipment and supplies in good working order Sends for lab work or prescriptions when requested Performs other related duties as assigned by the provider or supervisor Scribes for electronic medical records Some front office duties will be required when needed Skills Proven experience as a medical assistant or medical scribe Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
