The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient management, and the ability to assist healthcare professionals in various clinical tasks. The Medical Assistant will work closely with patients and medical staff to ensure efficient operations within our facility, which may include urgent care and emergency medicine environments. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Perform basic laboratory tests Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations. Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment. Support emergency medical services as needed. Experience Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with outpatient care practices, urgent care protocols, and emergency medicine is advantageous. Ability to perform basic inhalation therapies or other respiratory treatments is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members.
