Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical assistant and Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in dermatology or urgent care, is highly desirable. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process. Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently. able to perform duties of back office in a timely manner Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services offered. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and services. Process payments and manage billing inquiries as needed. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management. Stay informed about hospital protocols, including basic life support procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred. sales experience is plus Spanish speaking is plus Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on empathy and communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in aesthetics/wellness Basic life support certification is preferred but not mandatory upon hiring; training may be provided. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
