We're seeking someone who is both highly motivated and adaptable, able to stay focused on tasks while maintaining a professional, personable and approachable demeanor. The ideal candidate will be a long-term team member who helps create a smooth and positive experience for both patients and staff, while assisting with clinical duties such as gathering patient information, taking medical professional photos, preparing patients/rooms for procedures, and supporting our providers in delivering excellent care.

Responsibilities:

Following opening and closing procedures for patient rooms and clinical areas Greeting and escorting patients to procedure rooms Gathering health information and completing SOAP notes Responding to patient medical questions via call text an email (i.e after care instructions, downtime, etc) Explaining pre and post-treatment instructions Exhibit a great ability to work with diverse staff and patients from around the world Assisting providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatment preparations Supporting providers with patient flow during office visits Prescribing medication under the direction of providers Maintaining cleanliness and organization of rooms and clinical areas Take professional, medical grade photos Ensuring patient confidentiality in all aspects of care Handling patient invoices and coordinating payment Assisting with Telehealth appointments as needed Schedule/Re-schedule appointments Maintaining and managing medical inventory and supplies Attend and participate in meetings Adhere to policies and procedures by the California Medical Board, the company, and all other similar entities Gathering and documenting data/reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)

Qualifications:

High School Diploma + Medical Assistant degree/certification 5+ years experience as a Medical Assistant 2+ Years assisting Mohs Surgery (preferred) Excellent communication skills Experience with CRM/Customer Service Software (preferred) Competency in Microsoft office or Google Workspace including google sheets, docs, drive, etc. Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR systems preferred Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient privacy Ability to demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required
