Beverly Hills, CA Job Details Full-time From $27 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Free parking Paid holidays Health insurance Vision insurance Paid sick time Qualifications Teamwork Vital signs Interpersonal skills Attention to detail Organizational skills Computer skills Full Job Description Medical Assistant (Back Office with Front Office Experience) Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Practice - Beverly Hills, CA Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Assistant with both Back Office and Front Office experience to join our ENT practice in Beverly Hills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, patient-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. ResponsibilitiesBack Office Duties Room 10-15 patients daily, obtain vital signs, and document medical history and medications in the EMR system Assist with medical procedures, specimen collection, cultures/PCR swabs, and laboratory testing Sterilize instruments and process scopes and other medical equipment Order and maintain clinical supplies Serve as a point of contact for patients regarding medications, procedures, symptoms, and imaging studies Review and explain laboratory results, including PCR and culture findings, while educating patients on test purpose, accuracy, limitations, and turnaround times Process medical records requests in compliance with privacy and legal regulations Enter patient information and maintain accurate medical records in the EMR system Prepare imaging, laboratory, and referral orders as directed by the physician Coordinate prescription refills and communicate medication instructions to patients Front Office Duties Assist with patient check-in and check-out Schedule appointments and answer incoming phone calls Verify insurance Coordinate surgery scheduling and pre-operative clearances Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays and deductibles Collaborate with the billing department regarding clinical documentation and claims processing Qualifications Prior experience in a private medical practice as a Medical Assistant with Front Office responsibilities preferred Proficiency with EMR systems required; experience with Practice Fusion and Epic preferred Strong computer and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance and patient-centered attitude Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently Dependable, friendly, and team-oriented Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday 40-hour work week Primarily 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Compensation & Benefits Starting at $27+ per hour, based on experience Health Insurance Paid Vacation Paid Sick Time Paid Holidays Paid Parking We are looking for a motivated team member who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive office environment.
