About Us We are a boutique medical practice in Beverly Hills providing exceptional patient care and a luxury experience. We are seeking a Medical Assistant who combines strong back office and front office skills including:clinical support, patient education, excellent customer service, and sales skills. Position Overview The Medical Assistant will perform back office and front office duties while emphasizing patient education, treatment coordination, and ensuring follow-through on physician-recommended services. The position is eligible to earn commission and/or performance-based incentives in addition to hourly wages. All clinical tasks are performed under the supervision of licensed physicians and within California scope-of-practice regulations. Who This Role is For This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys energetic, meaningful patient interaction, takes pride in education and follow-through, and is motivated by performance-based incentives while maintaining a patient-first approach. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Patient Engagement & Sales Responsibilities Educate patients on treatments, retail products, and services as recommended by physicians Support sales of recommended services, packages, memberships, and retail products Assist with retail and service transactions in accordance with office protocols Track patient interest, follow-ups, and service outcomes as directed Consistently demonstrate ethical, patient-centered sales practices Front Office Responsibilities Assist with scheduling, check-in/check-out, and patient communications Maintain accurate documentation related to treatments and services Support a seamless, premium patient experience Back Office Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and assist physicians during procedures Escort patients and ensure comfort and safety Maintain clinical organization, cleanliness, and supply readiness General Responsibilities Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and California healthcare regulations Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and brand standards Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and administrative staff Perform additional duties as assigned within scope of role Compensation & Commission Structure This position is paid an hourly wage and is non-exempt, eligible for overtime in accordance with California law The role is eligible to earn commission and/or performance-based incentives based on individual and/or team performance Commission structure, eligibility criteria, and payout schedules are defined in a separate written commission or incentive plan, which may be modified at the employer's discretion in compliance with California law Commission eligibility does not alter the non-exempt classification of the position Qualifications Medical Assistant training or relevant clinical experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfort discussing in office procedures and retail products Sales, hospitality, or luxury service background strongly preferred Organized, motivated, and patient-focused Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the clinic during scheduled shifts Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Manual dexterity and visual acuity sufficient for clinical support tasks Employment Terms Non-exempt position subject to California wage and hour laws At-will employment relationship Equal Employment Opportunity We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and comply with all applicable California employment laws regarding nondiscrimination.
