Dermatology Medical Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our medical and surgical dermatology office. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a dermatology setting. This position requires a strong understanding of dermatological practices, medical terminology, and patient service, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care. Duties Assist dermatologists with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Perform intake assessments, including obtaining patient medical histories and vital signs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for all patients. Support the dermatology team with various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. Qualifications Pre-med and Pre-PA preferred Decent understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to dermatological conditions. Knowledge of patient care protocols, including intake procedures and medication administration. Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding patient service.
