This role combines vital clinical support with front desk responsibilities, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and providers alike. You'll be the friendly face greeting patients, managing appointments, and assisting with essential medical procedures in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Whether you have experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics, your skills will help us deliver exceptional healthcare services every day. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and perform intake assessments to prepare for provider consultations Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation to support accurate diagnoses Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, X-ray procedures, and basic life support (BLS) when necessary Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters, ICD coding for diagnoses, and medical history updates Ensure clinic cleanliness and organization while adhering to safety protocols within outpatient or inpatient settings Experience Prior experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist with patient assessments and clinical procedures Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding standards, and EHR systems for accurate record keeping Experience working in hospital settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers or emergency medicine units is advantageous Hands-on experience with X-ray equipment or in medical-surgical units enhances your ability to support diverse clinical needs Demonstrated ability to handle intake processes, vital signs collection, and patient service with professionalism and compassion Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required; experience is preferred This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a vibrant healthcare environment dedicated to excellence.
