The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, medical procedures, and administrative support within diverse clinical settings. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services, supporting physicians and nurses, and ensuring efficient clinic operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in dynamic primary care practice contributing to improved patient outcomes through compassionate care and precise clinical support. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs with accuracy. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures across various specialties such as dermatology, emergency medicine, or geriatrics. Prepare examination rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring a clean environment compliant with safety standards. Administer medications and injections following established protocols while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Document patient information accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Support medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and verifying insurance details to ensure seamless clinic operations. Maintain thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and emergency protocols to provide comprehensive patient service in inpatient or outpatient settings. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; current certification is mandatory. Proven experience working in primary care, urgent care, or outpatient clinics Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Hands-on experience with EHR systems for documentation and clinical workflows. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, specimen collection, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS). Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations across inpatient and outpatient care settings. Knowledge of hospital protocols related to infection control, safety standards, and emergency response procedures.
