Job Description
Mission Ranch Primary Care is dedicated to serving Chico and the surrounding communities with comprehensive family medicine and primary care services. We are committed to delivering high-quality, personalized patient care that meets the diverse needs of our community. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical support, patient service, and medical procedures. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, supporting medical staff, and ensuring smooth clinic operations within a dynamic healthcare environment. Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other medical records management. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards in all clinical activities. Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions compassionately and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant required. Certified Medical Assistant preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective clinical support. Experience with EHR systems required. Familiarity with eClinicalworks a plus. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
