Medical Assistant (Part Time / Per Diem)

Overview Privvy Modern Health is a privately owned wellness clinic offering weight loss, wellness, and aesthetic services in a welcoming, patient-centered environment. We are currently looking for a Medical Assistant (Certified MA preferred, but equivalent experience considered) who is comfortable supporting both the clinical and front desk team when coverage is needed. Applicants must also be comfortable administering GLP-1/weight loss medication injections under physician supervision. This position is ideal for students or individuals pursuing a healthcare career such as nursing, pre-med, physician assistant, or medical assisting who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a wellness and aesthetics setting. Schedule This is a part-time/per diem position with a flexible schedule based on clinic needs. Approximately 8-12 hours per week on average Shifts and weekly hours may vary depending on patient schedule and clinic coverage needs Weekend availability is required Weekday availability is also required This is not a full-time position and is not expected to transition into full-time at this time. Responsibilities - Clinical Support Administer injections (including weight loss injections and vitamin injections) under physician supervision Assist with medication dosing and patient follow-ups Provide patient counseling and education regarding treatment plans Chart patient encounters and document treatments accurately within the medical system Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Communicate effectively with providers, nurses, and front desk staff to support patient flow - Front Desk Support Provide reception coverage when needed Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule and confirm appointments Process payments and maintain accurate patient records Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment Requirements Certified Medical Assistant preferred, but equivalent MA experience will be considered Minimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience preferred Experience with injections strongly preferred GLP-1/weight loss experience is a plus Comfortable working in both clinical and front desk settings when needed Professional appearance and strong communication skills Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in medical, wellness, weight loss, or aesthetics clinics Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare office workflows Knowledge of weight loss injections, vitamin injections, Botox, fillers, or aesthetic services Bilingual is a plus Anatomy & Physiology coursework or pursuit of a healthcare-related degree is highly preferred

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
