How will you make an impact & Requirements Medical Assistant II • must have adult primary care experience• With nearly 30 years of experience in providing advanced primary care, CareMore APC delivers exceptional patient experiences. Compassionate clinicians take the time to understand each patient's unique health needs while also removing barriers to access. Patients trust us to receive the right personalized care where and when they need it - in our care centers, at home or virtually - to improve their health outcomes and quality of life. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides front and/or back-office support. Greets patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner in compliance with Care Center (CCC) or Medical Group Practice protocols and workflows. Oversees patient check in by ensuring medical records/charts have been pulled, patient data is current, appropriate paperwork is in order, and charts are reviewed/prepared. Interviews patient, measures vital signs and records reason for visit. Explains procedures, performs treatments, and administers prescribed medication. Oversees patient check out by scheduling follow up appointments, collecting co-payment if applicable, ensuring paperwork is complete. Schedules and confirms patient appointments. Reconciles co-payments at the end of each day.
Requirements:
Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Medical Assistant certification from an accredited school of training required. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) may be required. Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position. Phlebotomy background strongly preferred. •The posted compensation range represents the national market average. Compensation for roles located in premium or high-cost geographic markets may fall above this range. This position is bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.•Compensation:
