Medical Assistant Astrix Technology Group - 3.4 Duarte, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract $19 - $21 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment. This role is responsible for assisting with patient care, obtaining medical histories, preparing patients for examination, recording vital signs, and ensuring exam rooms and equipment are properly maintained.

$19.00-$21.00 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time Contract Opportunity Responsibilities Assist physicians with patient examinations and treatments. Obtain and document patient medical histories, symptoms, and concerns. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, and weight. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation. Prepare and stock examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols. Provide excellent patient service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Support clinical operations and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant certification preferred. 3-5 years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical or outpatient setting. Experience obtaining vital signs and documenting patient information. Knowledge of medical terminology and infection control procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems preferred. Preferred Skills Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Patient-focused approach with excellent bedside manner.
