Coastal Skin & Eye Institute is a comprehensive ophthalmology and dermatology practice located in Encinitas. We are searching for a part-time (24-30 hours per week) front desk medical assistant to join our growing team! Our ideal candidate is willing to learn, self-driven, patient-centered, motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating all paper work with the patient, physicians and surgery centers
• Coordinating all the pre and post op appointments and surgeries for several physicians
• Create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for patients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Data entry, insurance verification, prior authorization requests
• Well-organized with attention to detail and ability to efficiently multitask
• Management of multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
• Answering and triaging a multi-line phone system
• Scheduling appointments for multiple providers

Pay:

$21.00
