We are looking for a full-time Front Desk Medical Receptionist / Naturopathic Assistant who is warm , organized, dependable, and genuinely passionate about helping people . This role combines front desk, administrative, and clinical support responsibilities and is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient interaction and maintaining smooth office operations. Our practice is highly patient-centered and relationship-based , with a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service, teamwork, professionalism, and creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism Answer phones and assist patients with professionalism and warmth Respond to patient inquiries and schedule appointments Check patients in and out Collect patient payments and maintain accurate patient accounts Maintain patient records and organize patient charts and intake paperwork Comfort patients by anticipating concerns, answering questions, and helping maintain a calm, welcoming atmosphere in the reception area and exam rooms Take patient vitals and room patients Clean and prep rooms throughout the day Assist providers with clinical flow and general office operations Follow up regarding prescriptions, supplements, lab orders, and patient requests Call in prescriptions and assist with patient follow-up requests Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and treatment areas Stock, organize, and restock office and clinical supplies Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs Assist with filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims as needed Help create a supportive, calm, and welcoming patient experience Support front desk and team operations as needed Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Professional, calm, and friendly demeanor Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well with staff and contribute to a positive team environment Ability to create a welcoming patient experience is essential for this role Comfortable using computers, iPads, EMR systems, and cloud-based software Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Previous naturopathic assistant or medical assistant experience is not required, as training can be provided to become a nautropathic assistant. Strong customer service, professionalism, and a positive attitude are our main hiring priorities . Preferred Experience Medical receptionist or medical assistant experience Experience taking patient vitals Knowledge of medical terminology Interest in naturopathic, integrative, or functional medicine Customer-facing healthcare experience Schedule Sunday
