Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and vital signs with enthusiasm and professionalism Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as medication administration, wound care, X-ray procedures, and basic life support during emergencies Support physicians and nurses in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings, including Level I and Level II trauma centers and PICU environments Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient encounters accurately and securely Conduct ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures to ensure proper billing and recordkeeping Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist with minor procedures in clinics or surgical settings such as the OR Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit Experience Proven experience working in hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics with a focus on dermatology or internal medicine Hands-on hospital experience within Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols Experience supporting diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatric ICU (PICU), medical-surgical units, or emergency medicine environments Knowledge of X-ray procedures and basic radiology support is a plus Strong background in medical administrative support functions such as intake processing and vital signs collection Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or hospital experience are advantageous Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering top-tier patient care across multiple specialties.
