Folsom, CA Company:
Bella Nirvana Center Bella Nirvana Center is hiring compassionate Certified Medical Assistants to join our team at our Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program in Folsom, CA. This position is a part-time 24 to 32 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Admit residents into residential treatment. Perform Urine Analysis (UA) and ensure proper sample storage. Maintain progress notes and record vital signs. Conduct urine screens and manage self-medication protocols. Monitor residents' interactions and conduct room visits. Ensure facility cleanliness and security. Oversee resident housekeeping duties and enforce cleanliness standards. Monitor hazardous materials and conduct routine searches. Assist with meal duties and recreational activities. Maintain detailed incident reports and attend training sessions.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred; Medical Assistant certification required. Minimum two years of continuous sobriety if in recovery. Experience with shift work and substance abuse recovery preferred. Ability to handle high-stress situations and resolve conflicts. Knowledge of clinical standards in alcohol and drug abuse treatment. Valid California driver's license and vehicle insurance. First Aid/CPR certification required.
