Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant will provide support to the Physicians, Physicians Assistant, and Patients through a variety of tasks, including but not limited to patient care management and communication.

Job Requirements:

Experience in a clinical or office setting preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service. Administer injections as directed by healthcare providers. Provide patient education on medication reconciliation.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Basic Medical Assistant duties. Ability to type, basic computer knowledge. Detail oriented, goal oriented and team player. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to interact and treat all people with fairness, respect, and demonstrate sensitivity to age/ cultural/social difference/sexual orientation.

Education:

High School Diploma required. Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program required. Medical billing knowledge is preferred.

Work Experience:

Medical Assistant experience Front Desk experience
