Medical Assistant

Spring Endocrinology in Fresno, California is currently recruiting for a Medical Assistant. Responsibilities include providing assistance to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support the provider and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication, over the phone and in person.

Job description:

• Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
• Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
• Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
• Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
• Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims
• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtaining all vital signs
• Notifying providers of patient arrival
• Responsible for exam room cleanliness, stocking, and expiring supplies.
• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner to others.

Provide excellent service/support to all patients, employees, and outside contacts. This is a part-time or full time position; 30-40 hours per week. We are open 1-2 Saturdays per month for 4 hours. Partial coverage may be needed.
