This position is ideal for a strong clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring others, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. The Lead Medical Assistant will support providers with both medical and cosmetic dermatology services while overseeing daily clinical operations, training staff, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring compliance with practice standards. Compensation $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Full-time position 40 hours per week Benefits 401(k) with 4% employer match Medical insurance Dental insurance $300 monthly employer contribution toward insurance premiums Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays Employee discounts Professional development opportunities Career advancement opportunities Schedule Monday through Friday Day shift No weekends Minimum Requirements Applicants must meet ALL of the following qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Minimum 5 years of Medical Assistant experience Minimum 2 years of dermatology experience Minimum 2 years of Lead Medical Assistant or supervisory experience Ability to work full-time, 5 days per week Strong understanding of dermatology workflows and procedures Excellent communication and leadership skills Experience working within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Preferred Qualifications Experience with ModMed EMA (Modernizing Medicine) Experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology Experience training and mentoring Medical Assistants Inventory management and clinical operations experience Responsibilities Clinical Duties Prepare patients for examination and treatment Obtain and document medical histories Assist providers with dermatology and cosmetic procedures Educate patients regarding treatments and post-procedure care Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies Ensure accurate and timely documentation Leadership Duties Lead and support the Medical Assistant team Train and onboard new clinical staff Monitor daily patient flow and clinic efficiency Assist management with implementing and maintaining clinical protocols Promote a positive, accountable, and patient-focused culture Compliance & Operations Maintain HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards Monitor inventory and supply levels Assist with quality assurance initiatives Support providers and management in achieving operational goals Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: A proven leader who leads by example Dependable, organized, and professional Patient-focused with excellent bedside manner Comfortable working in a high-volume dermatology practice Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Committed to continuous improvement and team success About Allure Skin and Laser Allure Skin and Laser is a premier dermatology and aesthetic practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through advanced medical and cosmetic treatments.
