Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of clinical and administrative tasks that ensure our patients receive the highest quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Take and record patient histories, vital signs, and information Draw blood, administer vaccinations Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and follow-up calls Maintain accurate and confidential patient records Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and their families Maintain and clean all areas of the office/clinic
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in medical assisting is a plus Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Spanish speaking Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records (EHR)
