Medical Assistant - Per Diem - Employee Care Clinic

This is a per diem/casual, non-benefitted position with 10-hour shifts, typically from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Shift start times may vary based on department needs. The position is located at both

Your job duties:

Rooming patients, checking vitals, assisting with procedures Clinic prep assisting with Provider specific protocols Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment Organizes and performs patient care services that support the provider's practice Relaying instructions from the provider to the patient or authorized person Collecting patient data in person and by phone Documenting patient concerns, messages and care provided in the electronic medical record for the provider's review Administering medications specifically directed by the provider Scheduling of appointments and procedures Complete and accurate message taking Routing messages to the appropriate area for direction Setting up of cases in EPIC plus basic registration and updating of demographics
