Job Description Duties of the Medial Record Assistant Organize and manage patients' health information data. Ensure paperwork is properly filled out. Verify accuracy and accessibility of files. Ensure all files are secure. Maintain data on patient safety, ensuring that everyone complies with the HIPAA standards Process records of admissions and discharges at the facility Respond to patient inquires and external sources
Qualifications:
Prior experience in medial record preferred

Job Requirements:
Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly in a fast-paced dynamic environment Must be detail oriented We are located on the same campus as Sharp Grossmont hospital and just minutes away from the trolley station.
