In this role, you will be the backbone of our patient care operations, assisting healthcare providers with clinical tasks and ensuring our patients have a seamless experience from check-in to discharge. While we value clinical experience, certification is not required for this position. We are looking for a candidate with a strong working knowledge of patient care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Patient Intake:
Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature), and documenting chief complaints.
Clinical Support:
Assisting providers during examinations and minor procedures.
Administrative Duties:
Managing patient records, scheduling follow-up appointments, and handling front-desk inquiries as needed.
Lab Work:
Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens and performing basic in-house tests.
Sanitization:
Ensuring exam rooms are cleaned, stocked, and prepared for each patient.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
At least 1 year of previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting as a MA is required.
Skills:
Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software and basic office technology.
Compliance:
Must have a thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
Communication:
