Job Description
Orthopedic Medical Assistant Overview We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support a busy orthopedic clinical team across multiple outpatient locations in Orange County. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role supporting providers with exams, procedures, casting, bracing, and overall clinic flow. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vitals, histories, and chief complaints Assist providers during orthopedic exams and in-office procedures Apply and remove braces, splints, boots, and other orthopedic devices Support cast application and removal processes Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile technique for injections and procedures Assist with suture and staple removal as directed Provide wound care and dressing changes Educate patients on cast/brace care and use of assistive devices (crutches, walkers, etc.) Support patient flow and daily clinic operations Other duties as assigned Qualifications Medical Assistant certification/diploma preferred Prior experience in orthopedics or a specialty clinical setting preferred BLS certification preferred Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Travel required between multiple Orange County clinic locations (schedule provided in advance) Locations include: Anaheim, Fountain Valley, Irvine, Laguna Woods, Los Alamitos, Orange, Placentia, Seal Beach, and Yorba Linda Orthopedic Medical Assistant Overview We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support a busy orthopedic clinical team across multiple outpatient locations in Orange County.
