In this vital role, you will support clinical operations behind the scenes, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate documentation. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, whether in outpatient clinics, hospital settings, or specialized units such as emergency medicine or geriatrics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your medical knowledge and administrative skills to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes and clinic efficiency. Duties Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision Support clinicians with procedures like X-ray preparation, medication administration, and basic life support when needed Maintain accurate documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding and detailed patient notes Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in outpatient, inpatient, or emergency settings such as Level I and Level II trauma centers or PICU units Support hospital medicine, internal medicine, or surgical teams by managing patient flow and ensuring proper documentation of physiology and anatomy details Assist with clinical tasks related to dermatology, urgent care, or medical-surgical specialties while adhering to safety protocols Requirements Proven experience working in hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or emergency medicine environments Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and ICD coding standards Familiarity with EHR systems for accurate data entry and patient record management Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as X-ray operation or medication administration are a plus Experience supporting inpatient units like Geriatrics or PICU is highly desirable Ability to handle fast-paced situations typical of Level I Trauma Centers or urgent care settings with professionalism and efficiency Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics and internal medicine patients Join us in delivering outstanding healthcare support that makes a real difference!
