Contract Assignment, 13 weeks with possible extension Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (Outpatient) to join a busy outpatient clinic in Lodi, California. This position will provide non-invasive, routine technical support services under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers, including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurse midwives. This is a backfill position supporting an EPIC conversion project. Candidates must have recent hands-on experience with both EPIC and Cerner electronic medical record systems. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient care and clinical procedures. Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical histories. Prepare patients for examinations and treatments. Perform routine clinical and administrative duties. Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC and Cerner systems. Coordinate patient flow and support clinic operations. Follow all safety, infection control, and organizational policies. Qualifications Required High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider. Recent experience using both EPIC and Cerner EMR systems. Previous outpatient clinical experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. Preferred Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Phlebotomy Certification. Audiometry and Vision Training Certification or CHDP Certificate. Additional relevant clinical certifications and experience. Assignment Details Day Shift 40 hours per week No requested time off (RTO) accepted during the assignment Firm start date: August 3, 2026

$24.42 - $28.00 per hour
