In this vital role, you will support physicians and healthcare providers across diverse medical settings, including outpatient clinics, hospital environments, and specialized units such as emergency medicine, dermatology, geriatrics, and intensive care. Your expertise in clinical procedures, medical administrative support, and patient service will help ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to health and healing. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to monitor patient health status Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort Support physicians with clinical tasks including medication administration, wound care, and basic life support procedures Operate EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems efficiently to document patient encounters and update medical records Conduct diagnostic procedures such as X-ray imaging or basic physiology assessments when required Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure the cleanliness and readiness of clinical areas Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient, outpatient, or emergency settings including Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers Assist with specialized care units such as PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), Geriatrics clinics, or Medical-Surgical wards Support hospital medicine teams by coordinating patient flow, performing ICD coding for diagnoses, and assisting with inpatient care activities Experience Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in hospital medicine, urgent care, outpatient clinics, or specialty areas like dermatology or internal medicine is highly preferred Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical terminology is essential for accurate documentation and communication Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist with clinical assessments and procedures effectively Experience supporting emergency medicine teams or working within Level I or Level II trauma centers is advantageous Familiarity with X-ray operations or OR (Operating Room) procedures enhances your versatility in clinical settings Background working in diverse environments such as geriatrics clinics, PICU units, or medical-surgical wards demonstrates adaptability and comprehensive patient care skills Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional healthcare.
