You will be providing DocGo services in Greater Los Angeles by monitoring and providing directed treatment common to complex injuries and illnesses. Each day, you will drive to patients' homes to provide patient care. While at a patient's home, engage in guided assessments and provide treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for patients facing barriers to accessing the traditional healthcare system Throughout the treatment process, maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our EMR system You will be practicing under direction with synchronous telemedicine supportResponsibilities:
Act as a conduit for the medical treatment of the Health Plan Partnerships patient population Navigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of care Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnoses Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training team Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics Provide care with cultural sensitivity and compassion Lead your practice with a patient-centered approach Other related duties as deemed necessaryQualifications:
Must have one of the following certifications: MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA. (Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant). Valid CA Driver's License (for at least 2 years) and an acceptable driving record Must have minimum 2 years of recent in-person experience as a MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA in an Urgent Care, Primary Care, or related setting Phlebotomy experience Active and current American Heart Association BLS Ability to lift & carry 30-40lbs in a backpack style equipment bag Clinical work experience with pediatrics, preferred Fluent bilingual English/Spanish, requiredEEO/AAP Statement:
