Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Assistant with Supervisor experience to lead our clinical support team in providing exceptional patient care across diverse healthcare settings. This role is vital in ensuring smooth clinic operations, maintaining high standards of patient service, and supporting medical staff with administrative and clinical duties. The Medical Assistant will oversee daily workflows, mentor team members, and uphold compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of medical assistants and clinical support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery. Assist with patient intake procedures, including recording vital signs, collecting medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations. Support clinical tasks such as administering medications, performing basic X-ray procedures, and assisting with procedures in outpatient or inpatient settings. Ensure accurate documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding, medication administration records, and patient notes. Monitor compliance with healthcare protocols related to anatomy knowledge, physiology, emergency medicine procedures, and hospital policies. Provide training and mentorship to team members on medical terminology, hospital experience protocols, and clinic best practices. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in specialized areas such as dermatology, geriatrics, internal medicine, or trauma centers to optimize patient care processes. Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, medication administration, and vital signs measurement. Experience supporting diverse specialties. Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in documentation standards related to inpatient and outpatient care. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence and adherence to healthcare regulations.
