Cardiology Practice Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support our single-physician cardiology practice in Los Gatos, CA. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced specialty environment and passionate about cardiovascular patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Room patients and obtain vital signs and cardiac-focused histories Perform 12-lead EKGs and assist with stress tests and echocardiograms Place and remove Holter and event monitors Administer medications as directed by the physician Document clinical encounters accurately in eClinicalWorks Support Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program as needed

Requirements:

CMA or RMA certification preferred 1-2 years cardiology or specialty office experience strongly preferred EKG proficiency required; BLS/CPR certification required Proficient in eClinicalWorks or similar EHR Strong communication skills and comfort working with cardiac patients
