Medical Records Assistant Vasona Creek Healthcare $18.00/hr and up (DOE) | Full‑Time | Benefited Position Vasona Creek Healthcare is seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Medical Records Assistant to join our healthcare team. This full‑time, benefitted role is essential to maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential patient records while supporting clinical and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities Assemble, organize, and maintain medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient information Retrieve, file, and scan medical records as needed Assist with record audits and respond to internal and external record requests Maintain compliance with HIPAA and facility policies Support interdisciplinary teams with documentation needs Perform other administrative duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in medical records or healthcare administration preferred Knowledge of medical terminology a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred Strong communication and time‑management skills

Schedule & Compensation Status:

Pay:

$19.00 per hour and up, depending on experience (DOE)
